📋 Description

• Administer, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security. • Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS to support data ingestion, transformation, and integration. • Develop and manage Azure-based data solutions, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, and related cloud services. • Monitor and troubleshoot database performance; implement indexing, partitioning, and best practices for query optimization. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and implement scalable solutions for analytics and reporting. • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across systems and applications. • Support data modeling, schema design, and documentation of data flows. • Automate recurring DBA tasks and data operations to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. • Participate in on-call rotations or incident support when needed.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a DBA, Data Engineer, or in a hybrid data role. • Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server, including performance tuning, security, replication, and backup/restore strategies. • Proven experience developing and maintaining ETL pipelines with SSIS. • Solid understanding of Azure data services (Azure SQL, ADF, storage, monitoring tools, etc.). • Experience in data modeling, relational database design, and query optimization. • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts for data pipelines (nice-to-have). • Experience working in industries with complex data flows—automotive experience preferred but not required. • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • **Nice to Have** • Experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Spark. • Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting tools. • Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation.
