• Develop and execute Joint Business Plan to drive growth, unlock value and deliver concrete KPIs • Strategic grower of key customer relationships across categories, functions and customer leadership • Leverage data to identify and understand opportunities within the customer and market • Manage trade program to optimize growth opportunities and profitability • Develop annual and quarterly mutually agreed marketing and sales support plans • Generate profitable sales by selling solutions that meet customer needs • Collaborate with Sales Operations & Planning on monthly forecast and vetting incremental growth opportunities • Build and manage an opportunity pipeline and drive branded market share, SKU and operator penetration • Lead RFP, contract negotiation and JBP processes; build effective proposals and negotiate to agreement • Take accountability for delivering against sales targets and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners • Provide strategic insights and data-driven intelligence for the business • Report to the Team Lead in Distribution Sales and collaborate with cross-functional leaders
• Bachelor's Degree preferred • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience required • Demonstrated sales management resulting in profitable volume, customer penetration and relationship building • Experience managing a trade budget and achieving consistent, profitable growth • Experience in CPG, restaurant, culinary, and/or foodservice distributor industry • Command of business & financial acumen • Strong analytical skills and experience utilizing systems for tracking and recording sales • Experience with effective business planning and data-driven strategy • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written • Ability to build customer-ready presentations (leveraging strong PowerPoint/Excel skills) • Effective presentation, influence, and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders • Experience leading RFP and contract negotiation processes • Ability to develop and execute Joint Business Plans and manage trade programs • Willingness to perform individual contributor responsibilities and "roll up sleeves"
