• Work as a copy editor/paginator in a fast-paced news environment • Work one to three shifts a week, primarily evenings • Ensure details are accurate while meeting deadlines • Provide excellent customer service • Collaborate with other team members on projects
🎯 Requirements
• Solid experience copy editing, designing and proofreading print newspaper pages • Solid experience writing strong and accurate headlines and other display copy • Strong news judgment • The ability to get the details right while meeting daily deadlines • Superior customer service orientation • Excellent oral and written communication skills • A background in journalism • Experience editing sports-related content would be an asset
