• Accountable for overall project delivery, including quality, time, and cost • Establish and communicate customer expectations to the project team • Ensure internal and external escalation pathways are followed • Lead cross-functional project teams to meet or exceed deliverables • Manage projects of increasing complexity, including multi-service and multi-region/country projects • Serve as the primary contact and lead between the sponsor and the organization at project level • Define responsibilities and communication pathways for secondary project leads when required • Drive and own overall cross-functional project delivery • Ensure financial stewardship, including contract understanding, budget alignment, out-of-scope activity, change modification negotiations, and timeline execution • Drive risk identification and issue resolution at project level • Ensure compliance with organization policies, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulatory, and project-specific requirements
• Demonstrated experience running full-service clinical trials with a specialty in Respiratory Diseases • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification • 8+ years of comparable experience • 5+ years of management responsibility • Proven leadership skills • Comprehensive therapeutic-area knowledge, clinical development guidelines and directives, and regulatory guidelines • Expert knowledge of cross-functional project management principles across time, quality, and cost • Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills • Experience leading, motivating, and coordinating cross-functional project teams • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CTMS, Preclarus, Clarity, and organizational systems • Ability to prioritize workload and resources in a frequently changing environment • Process improvement and strategic development skills applicable to clinical trials, clinical development, and project management • Ability to coach, mentor, and lead global or cross-functional teams with cultural awareness • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource management • Customer service, consultation, and relationship-building skills • Advanced negotiation and marketing skills • Judgment, decision-making, problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, and strategic thinking skills • Risk identification and management skills • Ability to communicate and understand information with diverse groups • Ability to work upright and stationary during typical working hours • Ability to use and learn standard office equipment and technology • Ability to perform under pressure while managing multiple projects or activities • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Must pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening
