📋 Description

• Manage accounting processes impacting Ticketmaster North America lines of business, ensuring compliance with accounting rules and oversight of balance sheet reporting. • Manage SOX and financial audits, coordinate audit support, and maintain accounting process documentation. • Oversee daily and month-end divisional corporate accounting processes including cash/bank reconciliations, intercompany, prepaids, intangibles, leases, loans, investments, and accrued liabilities. • Prepare/review monthly, quarterly, and annual divisional balance sheet schedules for consolidated financial close. • Supervise SOX/internal and external audits and prepare SOX disclosure packages, narratives, and process maps. • Develop, document, and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls. • Manage, mentor, and develop accounting staff; participate in ERP financial system transformations and special projects; prepare ad hoc schedules.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in Accounting CPA • 15+ years of professional accounting experience in a comparable role required with at least 5+ years in a leadership position and experience managing SOX and financial audits. • Technology savvy including extensive experience with ERP systems (Oracle and/or SAP), high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business intelligence tools (e.g., Cognos, Domo, Tableau, etc.) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast paced, demanding, and high transaction volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders • Strong analytical and multi-tasking skills • Detail oriented and highly organized
