• Join the Tonsser Team as a Senior Backend Engineer • Tonsser is where youth football lives with nearly 2 million football players registered in 11 countries. • As a Senior Backend Developer, you'll be a vital part of our engineering team. • Your work will span the development and maintenance of our expansive Ruby on Rails API. • We are looking for someone passionate about craftsmanship in coding, upholding a high-quality codebase. • Our environment encourages innovation, creativity, and growth. • Be part of a mission-driven company shaping the future of football.
🎯 Requirements
• You have minimum 5 years of experience working as a Backend Engineer • You've built and architected well crafted and scalable APIs using Ruby on Rails or a similar web framework. • Comfortable with REST, JSON and at least a curiosity into GraphQL • Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL • Detail-oriented, focusing on writing high quality maintainable code • Writing unit and integration tests to ensure that your code is rock solid is a natural part of your workflow • Is a team player who strives to improve not only themselves, but everyone around them • Values developer productivity by automating as many things possible in your daily workflow • Knowledge around running resilient and scalable distributed services • Be fluent in English
