📋 Description

• We’re looking for a Senior/Lead Software Test Automation Engineer to take ownership of our test automation efforts and help scale quality engineering across teams. • This is a full-time (40 hrs/week) remote contractor role, open to candidates based in Portugal, Poland, Romania, Brazil, or Argentina. • Extend and maintain our existing test automation framework (Playwright + JavaScript/TypeScript). • Build end-to-end UI tests and API test coverage. • Maintain automation documentation and internal libraries. • Collaborate with QA, Engineering, DevOps, and Product to embed testing in the development lifecycle. • Mentor and guide Manual QA engineers through onboarding and upskilling in automation. • Continuously improve test practices, frameworks, and tooling. • Support test execution within our CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions) and reporting in Allure TestOps.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of QA experience, including 2+ years in test automation • Strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript • Proven experience with the Playwright framework • Comfortable writing and maintaining API tests • Familiar with GitHub Actions for CI/CD and Allure TestOps for reporting • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams • Ability to work independently, prioritize well, and communicate clearly • Fluent English (B2+ level)
