📋 Description
• Develop a thorough knowledge of the program curriculum as approved by the Provincial Regulator • Deliver high-quality classroom instruction, using a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment • Research and identify opportunities and trends within the industry • Provide leadership oversight regarding curriculum from a subject matter expert perspective • Facilitate Faculty Head Meetings at least monthly according to best practices
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Social Services, Psychology and/or Addiction Counseling • 3–5+ years direct clinical experience in addiction treatment • Membership with the Canadian Addiction Counselors Certification Federation (CACCF) is an asset • Adult education and teaching experience preferred • A criminal background check will be required for the selected candidate
