📋 Description

• Bring product thinking for market‑tailored hooks: ideate and incubate ideas across market segments and translate into concrete hook specs with adoption and measurement plans • Architect and ship hooks: own full lifecycle from whiteboard to audited mainnet deployment (fee dynamics, liquidity management, MEV/LVR capture, KYC/attestations, JIT, etc.) • Author canonical patterns: publish reference implementations, hook templates, and living specs • Design with distribution in mind: co‑create adoption plans and ship adapters, simulators, and SDK glue for integrators (lending/ALMs/vaults, aggregators/routers, intent layers, asset issuers) • Own security and correctness: threat model hooks, define invariants, fuzz and formally verify critical paths, and partner with external auditors • Data and feedback loops: instrument events/metrics, write Dune/Flipside dashboards, and run controlled experiments to tune parameters based on flow, MEV, and LP PnL • Day-to-day: pair programming, code reviews, writing Foundry tests and fuzzers, benchmarking gas and optimizing with Yul, coordinating integrations with aggregators/routers

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years smart‑contract engineering experience • 2+ years shipping production DeFi at protocol teams (DEX, lending, perps, bridges, market making infrastructure, oracles) • Deep Solidity and EVM internals • Strong with Foundry, fuzzing, property tests • Comfort reading and implementing community smart contracts • Knowledge of common security pitfalls • Deep and practical understanding of Uniswap v4 architecture (PoolManager, Hooks, singleton design, state scoping, callback surfaces) • Practical understanding of Uniswap v3 concentrated liquidity model • Strong understanding of liquidity routing infrastructure (aggregators, routers, solvers) • Demonstrated product sense in DeFi: incentives, MEV, LP/trader UX, distribution • Portfolio of shipped, battle‑tested contracts and public design docs/posts/talks • Nice-to-have: shipped a v4 hook on mainnet; emphasis on scalable organized testing suites and test-driven design practices
