📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist with strong web development experience to join our team. • This role requires a deep understanding of SEO best practices, technical SEO, and website optimization, combined with hands-on experience in WordPress and front-end development. • You will play a key role in optimizing website performance, implementing SEO strategies, and developing responsive interfaces to enhance user experience and search rankings. • Core Tasks: • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and site visibility. • Conduct technical SEO audits and recommend fixes for site speed, indexing, and mobile performance. • Optimize on-page SEO elements, including metadata, headers, structured data, and internal linking. • Perform keyword research and content optimization to enhance search performance. • Track and report key SEO performance metrics, including organic traffic, rankings, and conversions. • Assist with front-end development tasks, ensuring clean, SEO-friendly code. • Manage WordPress websites, including theme customization and plugin optimization. • Troubleshoot technical SEO issues (e.g., crawl errors, site speed, mobile usability). • Integrate and configure Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools for performance tracking. • Work with third-party integrations and automation tools (e.g., Zapier). • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to improve search rankings and site engagement.

🎯 Requirements

• Must-Have Skills & Experience: • 3+ years of experience in SEO with a strong understanding of technical SEO and website optimization. • 2+ years of experience in front-end web development (WordPress, Shopify experience preferred). • Strong knowledge of SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, BrightLocal, etc.). • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for SEO and front-end development. • Familiarity with structured data (Schema markup) and SEO performance optimization. • Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM), GA4, and tracking setup. • Proficiency in website speed optimization techniques (Core Web Vitals, caching, minification, etc.). • Strong written and verbal English communication skills. • Ability to work EST hours. • Nice-to-Have Skills: • Experience with back-end development (PHP, Ruby, or similar languages). • Familiarity with project management tools and experience leading team projects. • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing. • Knowledge of local SEO strategies and Google Business Profile (GMB) optimization. • Hands-on experience leveraging ChatGPT or similar AI tools for automation. • Familiarity with Unbounce, Search Atlas OTTO, or other advanced SEO tools.
