📋 Description
• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with US GAAP and Local GAAP. • Support the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring timely completion of tasks. • Reconcile Balance sheet and P&L accounts on a regular basis and investigate discrepancies. • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis and supporting schedules. • Maintain proper documentation for all journal entries and account reconciliations. • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. • Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary support and documentation. • Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and regulations under both US GAAP and Local GAAP. • Support cross-functional teams and management with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.
🎯 Requirements
• Degree in Accountancy with CA / CPA qualification and 2+ years of working experience in accounting and book close process. • Solid knowledge of US GAAP and Local GAAP (e.g., IFRS, statutory requirements). • Experience with ERP system - NetSuite is preferred. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
