📋 Description

• To ensure the Finance function is optimally supporting business operations • Lead all aspects of financial management, including FP&A, accounting, tax and treasury • Build and lead an engaged and motivated internal service team • Maintain credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Responsible for the function that delivers seamless financial and operational reporting • Partner with the CEO to identify and execute actions that drive profitable growth • Implement effective digital/AI enablement and operating procedures • Identify risks and opportunities in key operating metrics and the P&L • Facilitate a strong internal control environment • Lead the FP&A team to monitor financial performance • Provide departments with timely, accurate, and reliable financial information • Act as primary coordination point with financial sponsor on deal evaluation, due diligence, deal structure and execution.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in progressively more senior accounting and finance roles in industry, including 4+ years at a senior level with responsibility for managing the operational aspects of finance. • Exposure to working in an organization with over CAD $30M in revenues and global operations. • Experienced leader, with likely 8+ years track record in managing a team. • Several years (ideally 2-4+) in public accounting with a top tier international firm. • Experience in building and leading the financial, processes, automation and rigour for a SaaS company. • University degree and CPA professional accounting designation, with 15+ years post-qualified experience.
