📋 Description

• Lead and develop best practices for data identification, capturing, modeling, testing and deployment • Build mobile and web based data collectors, data processing pipelines and predictive ML models • Oversee and lead the data org; • Establish data science, engineering and advanced analytics as an organizational capability • Design, construct and manage the data architecture • Oversee data privacy and security protocols • Direct the application of machine learning • Hire, retain and mentor a world-class team

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years experience within data engineering and/or science • 5+ years of experience leading, developing and scaling data teams • Success as a cross-functional people manager of an operationally complex, high-growth environment • Expertise in data storage, retrieval and data architecture • Leadership experience; preferably early-stage, venture backed growth companies in ML, computer vision, Recommendation Engine and AR • Experience working in hyper-growth start-up retail ventures • Extensive knowledge of data architecture, including data warehouses, data lakes and pipelines • Experience working with agile, lean and Continuous Delivery approaches • Experience building cloud native software architectures • High EQ and low ego • Exceptional collaboration, communication and leadership skills
