📋 Description

• At Vanta, our mission is to secure the internet and protect consumer data. • As a Product Design Manager, at Vanta, you’ll lead a growing design team that’s responsible for maturing our Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) product, including redesigning existing products and launching new products. • Vanta’s design team is warm, collaborative, talented, and ambitious. • You will thrive at Vanta if you are passionate about building both teams and products, and if you embrace ambiguity, complexity, and the autonomy to shape our experience strategy and how we work as a team. • We expect you to play an integral role as a thought leader, shaping our design practice as we continue to scale rapidly.

🎯 Requirements

• Have 10+ years of product design experience, with deep experience working on complex B2B and B2C SaaS products and 3+ years of successfully building and managing design teams. • Evidence of getting into the details to uphold a high standard of B2B design quality (UX and UI) and craftsmanship in your team’s work. • Proven track record of producing designs that impact the business – by digging in yourself, leading through others, and influencing internal stakeholders. • Deep experience partnering well with product management and engineering counterparts. • Passion for leading, coaching, and building an inspired team through setting vision, unlocking potential, and driving compassionate accountability. Ability to establish a vibrant, opinionated, and inclusive design culture. • Deep curiosity about AI and cybersecurity. Prior experience in security is helpful but not required. We’ve found that leaders with strong design skills in technically complex areas can bring fresh perspectives to create great experiences for our users. • As part of the interview, we require a portfolio that demonstrates work produced by your teams that has impacted the business, and operational practices you have implemented which have led to a higher functioning team.
