📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services primarily in Python • Develop and enhance APIs, ensuring they are secure, performant, and easy to use • Leverage AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Redshift, RDS) to deliver robust cloud-native solutions • Lead the design and implementation of new features, ensuring scalability and reliability • Collaborate with product, design, and QA to bring new ideas from concept to production • Improve automation and developer efficiency with modern CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Serverless Framework) • Mentor and support other developers, raising the technical bar across the team • Operate within EST business hours and participate in remote cross-functional team workflows

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience building backend applications, with Python as your primary language • Solid background in building distributed, cloud-native applications (AWS preferred) • Familiarity with REST API design, microservices, and event-driven architectures • Experience leveraging AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Redshift, RDS) • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Serverless Framework) • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for writing clean, maintainable, and testable code • Proven ability to work in remote, cross-functional teams • Strong English communication skills • Experience mentoring, reviewing code, and providing technical leadership is a plus • Must be prepared to work within Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours
