📋 Description
• Support/maintenance/troubleshooting of virtualization infrastructure – Vmware mainly, some Hyper-V and KVM based virtualization solutions (Proxmox, XCP-ng) • Remote support/maintenance/troubleshooting of enterprise-grade hardware: Server hardware (Generic IPMI/iDRAC/iLO); Data Storage Systems (DAS, iSCSI, FC, NVMEoF) • Support/maintenance/troubleshooting of foundational infrastructure services: DHCP, DNS, MS AD • Communicating with other participants of the product development and testing process regarding technical issues (HW/SW related) • Tasks and procedures optimization and automation • Proactive research of new approaches and solutions • Writing and keeping up to date internal KB articles • Monitoring services management and maintenance (Zabbix, Vmware Aria for logs/Operations) • Support/maintenance/troubleshooting of local backup solutions (VBR) • Keeping asset information up to date
🎯 Requirements
• Technical education or passion for technology • 2 plus years on similar position • English B1 (communication within the team, with vendors support by email/MS Teams) • Knowledge of Microsoft software stack and key technologies (Windows Server, Hyper-V, AD, DNS, DHCP) • Administration experience of VMware vSphere products or KVM based virtualization solutions • Experience in implementing new services/software solutions • Scripting experience (PowerShell/Python)
