📋 Description

• Design, define, and maintain BAML specifications that power new and existing product features. • Own the structure, quality, and maintainability of BAML workflows across engineering teams. • Build reusable BAML patterns and modules to standardize how Vetcove handles LLM interactions. • Ensure strong output validation, schema control, and error-handling using BAML’s declarative model. • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business logic into BAML workflows. • Guide best practices for prompt structure, schema design, testing, and versioning within BAML. • Document conventions, patterns, and architectural decisions for long-term maintainability.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5+ years of professional software engineering experience • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Computer Science • Experience working with or interest in learning BAML (Boundary ML). • Understanding of how LLMs operate, even at a high level (prompting, structured output, model evaluation). • Ability to design clean abstractions and build systems that scale across teams. • Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating across engineering, product, and operations. • A focus on predictability, safety, and maintainability — especially when integrating LLM behaviors. • Experience shipping production features in a modern web framework • Ability to move quickly and handle multiple concurrent priorities • A customer-first mindset and collaborative, positive attitude • Comfortable working in a fully remote environment
