📋 Description

• Design and deliver backend services, frontend UI components, data models, messaging systems, and API specifications for the studio's game platform • Contribute to architectural discussions and technology research shaping the platform's long-term direction • Translate functional requirements into technical designs balancing delivery needs and maintainability • Write high-quality, documented code emphasizing performance, reliability, and testability • Champion test-driven development and accountability for software correctness and resilience • Lead peer code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback • Mentor less experienced engineers and support problem-solving • Identify and address technical debt, architectural risks, and platform-quality improvements • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables autonomously • Collaborate with QA analysts, product stakeholders, and engineers to deliver features meeting functional, technical, and commercial requirements • Implement process and automation improvements across the development lifecycle • Track work, issues, and progress using JIRA or equivalent tooling

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Engineer or equivalent senior role • Demonstrable track record of platform-level delivery • Backend development experience in PHP, Python, or a comparable server-side language • Ability to design and own services from the ground up • Experience with distributed systems and microservice architectures at scale • Ability to work independently with a high degree of autonomy • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to software quality • Familiarity with DevOps practices and Docker and Kubernetes containerisation technologies in cloud-based environments • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript • Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, Vue, React, or equivalent • Experience with contemporary build tooling
