• Develop, implement and manage fraud prevention strategies, policies, procedures and controls, with emphasis on Card products (Issuer), ensuring alignment with business objectives; • Perform predictive analyses and investigations of fraud patterns, using transactional and behavioral data to identify risks and propose innovative, effective and sustainable solutions; • Continuously monitor the fraud landscape and emerging risks, evaluating indicators, trends and the outcomes of implemented rules, and adjust prevention strategies and anti-fraud mechanisms as needed; • Develop and track performance indicators (KPIs/KRIs), turning data into strategic insights for decision-making and continuous improvement of processes and controls; • Ensure clear and effective communication of fraud prevention processes, policies and procedures to all relevant areas of the company; • Lead strategic fraud prevention projects from conception through implementation and results monitoring; • Assess and recommend adoption of new technologies and tools to optimize resources and ensure effectiveness of implemented solutions; • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with other internal areas (Product, Data, Credit, Compliance, Technology, etc.) and external partners (financial institutions, regulators, technology vendors); • Represent the area in internal and external forums, presenting results, insights and fraud prevention strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics or related fields; • Experience in fraud prevention strategy teams, including creating and optimizing anti-fraud rules and models; • Extensive knowledge of card-ecosystem fraud prevention, specifically on the Issuer side; • Experience in transactional fraud prevention, preferably at financial institutions, fintechs, acquirers or payment service providers; • Advanced knowledge of SQL (complex queries, CTEs, etc.) for extracting, manipulating and analyzing large volumes of data; • Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Looker or similar) for creating dashboards, analytical reports and strategic views; • Advanced analytical capability to identify patterns, trends and anomalies, and strategic thinking to conduct studies, including scenario simulations.
