• 6+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 10+ years of relevant work experience. • Proficient in Golang, Java and/or Groovy with the ability to work in other languages. • Advanced Git usage, supporting team members in resolving issues. • Skilled in identifying and resolving bugs across team and adjacent scopes. • Expert in reviewing code for quality, identifying potential issues, and suggesting improvements that consider cross-domain impacts. • Proficient in writing unit, integration, and manual tests. • Experienced in using Swagger, creating flow diagrams, and documenting APIs. • Advises on best practices and solutions, aligning with Pismo’s validated standards and patterns. • Deep understanding of team products actively participates in feature discussions, prioritization, and impact analysis across teams. • Skilled in resource creation using Terraform, application configuration, and deployment using Argo, Jenkins, and Codefresh. • Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes, including local setup, debugging, and cluster configuration. • Strong knowledge of relational databases and ability to define strategies for non-relational databases. • Designs monitoring strategies, sets up alerts, and ensures system observability to prevent issues. • Designs scalable microservices, evaluates architectural trade-offs, and ensures robustness under high request volumes. • Proficient in AWS services used at Pismo, applying best practices for performance and integration. • Identifies and resolves distributed system issues, rethinking solutions to optimize performance and reliability.
