📋 Description

• Lead and manage the deployment of rail gate hardware across stations and networks. • Develop and maintain deployment plans, schedules, and resource forecasts. • Coordinate logistics for hardware delivery, storage, and staging. • Oversee installation, integration, and commissioning of equipment. • Ensure all deployments comply with rail safety standards, regulations, and quality procedures. • Manage on-site contractors, ensuring work is completed to specification and on time. • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies. • Act as the main point of contact between clients, suppliers, and internal teams. • Monitor deployment progress, track issues, and escalate where necessary. • Oversee acceptance testing, handover, and transition to operational support teams. • Maintain accurate documentation of deployments, configurations, and changes. • Drive continuous improvement in deployment processes and efficiency.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong project management and organisational skills. • Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams (engineering, logistics, contractors, station staff). • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Risk assessment and mitigation planning. • Ability to interpret technical drawings and installation manuals. • Proven experience in deploying hardware in operational transport or similar safety-critical environments. • Understanding of electromechanical systems, IT hardware, and field equipment integration. • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
