📋 Description

• Manage and account for SimpleTax, Wealthsimple Mortgages, and Wealthsimple Cash products. • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including product analysis and month-over-month variance analysis • Play a key role in building and implementing new accounting processes for new product launches • Prepare monthly accruals and account reconciliations to ensure accurate and complete financial statements • Support the month-end close process • Assist in developing and documenting new accounting policies and procedures • Build and maintain relationships with Operations and Data teams to ensure seamless communication and accurate reporting

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in accounting • CPA designation (or working towards completion of CPA designation) • Experience with IFRS and strong familiarity with product accounting principles including revenue recognition • Experience with Netsuite is an asset
