📋 Description

• Own and lead Crypto design, contributing to conversations and direction of the product roadmap and strategy • Understand the investing needs of customers and empower both new and sophisticated crypto investors with tools and knowledge • Partner closely with engineering, data science and product management to find refined but practical solutions to design challenges • Create multiple concepts and prototypes, recognizing when high-fidelity detail is needed and when low-fidelity sketches suffice • Listen to users and conduct research to develop the right product strategy and delightful solutions • Leverage data to inform design solutions and decisions • Ensure all UX efforts align with strategic direction and vision for working areas • Mentor and develop Designers to raise craft quality across the organization • Establish subject matter expertise in crypto and on-chain technologies to guide product and design decisions • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate innovative solutions into product design • Be embedded on the Investing team to shape the future of Wealthsimple's crypto offering and deliver high-quality product to clients

🎯 Requirements

• Passion and knowledge of the web3 ecosystem • Expert practitioner in product design, including motion and interaction design • Demonstrated experience designing and shipping consumer-facing products (mobile and web) • Proven ability to turn complex problems into simple experiences • Strong understanding of how design, product and engineering work together to ship high-quality experiences quickly and at scale • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and project direction to internal teams and stakeholders • Experience shaping and leading user research studies to generate user insight • Ability to work independently, biasing towards action to drive projects forward • Resume and portfolio demonstrating problem-solving, consumer-facing product work, impact, and user-driven decisions
