📋 Description

• Own the accounting cycle end-to-end, ensuring accurate and timely monthly closings. • Prepare and maintain audit-ready financial statements and supporting documentation. • Implement and improve accounting policies, controls, and standardized processes. • Identify inconsistencies or risks early and propose corrective actions based on solid criteria. • Work closely with Finance leadership to ensure alignment between accounting data and business decisions. • Collaborate with the rest of the team to elevate the overall technical bar of them • Support operational improvements through automation (Excel, scripts, or simple tools). • Ensure compliance with applicable legal, tax, and regulatory requirements, coordinating with legal advisors when needed and maintaining documentation that supports audit and regulatory reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, controlling, or audit roles. • Strong command of the full accounting cycle, including reconciliations, adjustments, provisions, and intercompany. • Experience preparing or supporting external audits (internal or Big4 is a plus). • Solid knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS or US GAAP exposure preferred). • Highly organized, rigorous, and able to build structure where processes are still maturing. • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote, fast-moving environment. • Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to non-finance stakeholders. • Proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated by improving processes rather than maintaining the status quo. • Bonus: SQL basics.
