• Design and oversee the creation of online courses and programs that align with the institution’s goals and standards. • Continuously assess the quality and effectiveness of online courses, making necessary adjustments to improve student outcomes. • Work closely with educators and administrative staff to ensure the successful delivery and support of online programs. • Ensure that all online programs meet accreditation standards and are accessible to all students, including those with disabilities. • Oversee the financial aspects of online programs, including budgeting, resource allocation, and securing funding. • Lead, coach, and develop team members; meet regularly with direct reports in one-on-one and group settings to provide feedback and cultivate/maintain a positive work culture. • Manage large projects or processes with limited oversight and handle complex problems requiring extensive investigation, analysis, and collaboration. • Communicate compliance requirements and escalate compliance concerns to the Compliance department. • Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Education or related field. • Skills – online and hybrid course delivery, instructional design principles application, curriculum adaptation, managing online education programs, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to professionally communicate fluently in verbal and written English. • Ability to support a diverse and inclusive work environment. • Computer literacy/basic computer skills to effectively navigate and utilize the technology required for the role. • Preferred: Any advanced degree or equivalent experience and/or strong or advanced proficiency in any of the above required skills/experience. • Preferred: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other business tools such as Microsoft Teams. • Preferred: Learning Management System (LMS), emerging education technologies, education program strategic planning and market analysis. • Demonstrate knowledge of, and carefully follows all applicable state laws and rules, federal and state compliance requirements and regulations including those prescribed by the U.S. Department of Education, accrediting agencies, state regulations and internal policies and procedures. • Effectively communicate compliance requirements to other staff as appropriate and quickly escalate any compliance concerns to the Compliance department. • Home office set up, quiet place to work, ability to be on camera, and ability to hard wire into high-speed internet connection. • Travel to bi-annual commencement is required. • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
