📋 Description
• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of application migration activities • Ensure the successful transition of mission-critical enterprise systems with minimal operational disruption • Collaborate with business stakeholders, application owners, infrastructure, network, security, and vendor teams to drive migration readiness • Conduct application assessments, dependency analysis, testing coordination, cutover planning, risk management, and post-migration stabilization • Facilitate discovery workshops and coordinate cross-functional technical teams • Manage project risks and issues • Oversee testing and cutover activities • Support transition-to-operations and develop technical documentation • Deliver technical presentations and create reusable documentation to strengthen internal team capabilities
🎯 Requirements
• 7-10+ years of experience leading or supporting complex technical projects within large enterprise environments • Demonstrated experience planning and coordinating infrastructure, data centre, application migration or technology transformation initiatives • Proven experience managing application portfolios through major infrastructure changes, including migration planning, dependency management, testing coordination, cutover planning, and operational readiness activities • Strong understanding of enterprise architectures, integrations, hosting environments, infrastructure dependencies, and operational support models • Proven ability to identify, assess, and mitigate technical and operational risks associated with infrastructure and application migration initiatives • Experience working with cross-functional teams spanning business and technical domains • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable information for both technical and non-technical audiences • Experience developing project artifacts such as migration plans, dependency maps, readiness assessments, testing strategies, risk registers, and implementation plans • Experience leading or supporting large-scale data centre migrations, infrastructure modernization programs, or cloud transformation initiatives • Experience with Microsoft Azure, hybrid hosting environments, or enterprise cloud migration strategies • Experience conducting application inventory, assessment, and rationalization activities • Experience within a healthcare or other highly regulated environment supporting mission-critical applications • Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) and/or project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certifications) considered an asset • Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent migration activities and priorities • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities • Ability to navigate complex technical and operational environments and build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups • Proactive, detail-oriented, and delivery-focused with a strong commitment to ensuring successful project outcomes • Comfortable working in ambiguous and evolving environments while maintaining focus on timelines, dependencies, and critical deliverables.
