📋 Description

• Support a large-scale Justice Information Management System (JIMS) 3.0 data integration and modernization initiative • Consolidate multiple reporting data marts into an integrated Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and supporting data marts and views • Perform data architecture and data profiling • Develop data models and ETL processes • Address data quality and reporting validation • Support enterprise data governance

🎯 Requirements

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Management, or a related discipline • 5+ years of experience providing architecture risk assessments and architecture-related services • 2+ years of experience working in or with public-sector environments, with an understanding of public-sector policies and practices • 5+ years of experience working with data architecture, data modeling, and enterprise data solutions • 5+ years of experience developing with data modeling/architecture tools such as SAP/Sybase PowerDesigner or equivalent • Strong experience with data warehousing, ETL, data marts, facts, dimensions, and data modeling • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) • Strong SQL and relational database experience • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence/reporting tools • Strong understanding of information management, data governance, data quality, and cybersecurity policies • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
