📋 Description
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including engineers, scientists, analysts, and BI professionals. • Design and oversee the architecture of Yuno’s data infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high performance across all data pipelines. • Monitor data health metrics and lead remediation of critical data issues. • Architect scalable infrastructure including data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines. • Ensure high availability, security, and performance of platforms (e.g. Snowflake, AWS). • Drive automation and observability to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency. • Define and execute the enterprise data integration strategy and roadmap. • Lead adoption of cloud-native and hybrid integration tools. • Champion modern integration patterns including data mesh, API-led connectivity, and event-driven architectures.
🎯 Requirements
• Fluent in Spanish and English. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field, OR equivalent real-world experience in data roles • 8+ years of engineering leadership with 3+ years managing managers across data-heavy backend teams (or an equivalent track record of shipping production data systems at internet scale). • Track record of shipping production data systems at massive scale. • Experience with modern data stack (SQL, Python, dbt, BigQuery, Looker, etc.) • Experience with APIs, integrations with third-party systems, and batch/streaming data processing.
