• Perform general ledger maintenance and reconciliation • Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger (GL) close process • Collaborate with other departments in terms of financial statement reviews • Work with third-party services providers based in Brazil and in Mexico (outsourcing firms) • Participate in the month-end close process, including journal entries, performing reconciliations, and preparing other analysis • Accountable for providing assistance with the monthly, quarterly and yearly financial close processes • Assist with implementing accounting policies and procedures to ensure all financial transactions are executed according to GAAP principles • Preparation of fluctuation analyses and performance of financial statement analytics • Assist with accounts payables day-to-day activities • Assist with the process of invoicing customers bridging possible gaps • Participation in annual financial audits and quarterly reviews with external auditors
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance • 2 or more years of accounting experience – Big 4 public accounting preferred • Understanding of US and local GAAP and applicable accounting rules and regulations • Understanding of indirect tax (ISS, PIS and COFINS) and withholding tax rules • Understanding of Sao Paulo City Hall billing process • Intermediate MS Excel skills required (VLooksUps, Pivot Tables, etc.) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organization skills • Energetic, driven and dedicated • Teamwork-oriented (Strongly Preferred) • Experience working with NetSuite or a large-scale ERP • Experience working in a publicly-traded, high-tech, high-growth company • CPA or equivalent (in-process or obtained) • Experience with Blackline account reconciliation and matching modules
