• Provide legal guidance and support for contract negotiations, drafting, and compliance • Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts, including service agreements, vendor contracts, and non-disclosure agreements • Provide legal advice on contractual obligations and risk management • Ensure contracts are in compliance with legal standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements • Identify and mitigate legal risks in contracts • Work closely with business units to understand their needs, provide legal advice, and support contract negotiations • Stay up to date on relevant legal developments, regulations, and best practices related to contract law • Advise internal teams on contract terms, rights, obligations, and potential disputes or breaches • Conduct legal research and stay current on relevant laws and regulations • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with contractual terms and internal policies • Assist in the development and implementation of contract management processes and templates • Identify potential legal issues and propose solutions to mitigate risks • Support in resolving disputes related to contracts and provide guidance during negotiations • Maintain comprehensive records of contract agreements and related documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school • Admitted to practice before a state bar • 8+ years of experience in contract law, preferably in a corporate legal environment • Strong understanding of contract drafting, negotiations, and compliance • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and applications • Knowledge ERISA, employee benefits and/or Taft-Hartley plans (preferred) • Experience in the healthcare industry and/or working for a third-party administrator (preferred)
