Beschreibung

• Manage an Implementation team responsible for delivering automated calculations for new clients • Manage and develop staff assigned to the team • Deliver new client implementations on time, to budget, and to quality standards • Review project and team documentation for quality standards • Ensure process changes are incorporated • Own and promote best practice within the team • Oversee and sign off process improvements • Review and agree project plans, identifying and mitigating risks and issues • Support Programme/Project Managers in steering projects to successful closure • Ensure projects are appropriately resourced and escalate resourcing risks • Lead the team on process and delivery approach • Seek efficiencies and mentor the team on best practice • Liaise with Programme/Project Managers to facilitate project deadlines and timescales • Ensure people-management tasks are completed and staff are developed, mentored, and trained • Analyse requirements to ensure output is fit for purpose • Identify errors through checking and sign-off processes

🎯 Anforderungen

• Strong technical pensions knowledge, particularly in defined benefit (DB) schemes, with ability to explain complex matters • System/calculations configuration or operations background • Strong management and/or leadership skills • Experience interacting with clients and internal and external stakeholders • Previous experience implementing change or working in a project environment • Understanding of System Testing and/or User Acceptance Testing • Understanding of calculation proformas, Benefit Basis, Benefit Specifications, scenario matrices, test plans, Calculation Specifications, system debugs, root cause analysis, and triage processes • Familiarity with pension administration systems, member records, setup, and operational processing • Ability to analyse requirements and ensure output is fit for purpose • Up-to-date knowledge of legislation and policy changes affecting pensions • Detailed understanding of DB, DC, CARE, and annuities, including administration and system/process implications • Commitment to quality service and identifying errors during checking and sign-off
