Beschreibung

• Work with Staff and Senior Engineers to innovate and build new systems • Improve and enhance existing systems • Identify opportunities to apply technical knowledge to solve critical problems • Lead the strategy and execution of a technical roadmap to increase product delivery velocity and unlock engineering capabilities • Provide technical and thought leadership across multiple areas of the enterprise • Collaborate with product managers, team members, customers, and engineering teams to solve complex problems • Develop and execute technical software development strategy across varied domains • Ensure solution quality, usability, and performance • Use Java, Python or other object-oriented languages, SQL, NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure tools and services • Mentor and coach engineering and product communities • Influence and educate executives • Share best practices and improve processes across teams • Analyze costs and prepare forecasts for business plans • Determine and support resource requirements • Evaluate operational processes and measure outcomes • Sponsor continuous learning and demonstrate adaptability

🎯 Anforderungen

• 12+ years of professional software development experience within a Java framework, especially Spring • 8+ years of experience with architecture and design • 6+ years of experience with open-source frameworks • 4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience • Ability to design, perform experiments, and influence engineering direction and product roadmap • Experience partnering with engineering teams and transferring research to production • Experience effectively using Cursor AI • Track record of publications in credible conferences and journals • Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code • In-depth knowledge of computer science data structures and algorithms • Experience solving analytical problems with quantitative approaches • Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment • Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle • Fluency and specialization in at least two modern languages such as Java, C++, Python, or C#, including object-oriented design • Experience with microservices-oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs • Experience building architecture and design for new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling • Fluency in DevOps concepts, cloud architecture, and Azure DevOps Operational Framework • Experience leveraging PowerShell scripting • Experience with operational portals such as Azure Portal • Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments • In-depth knowledge of datacenter structure, capabilities, and offerings, including the Azure platform and its native services • Experience with security protocols and products, including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth • Experience with Azure Network, including subscriptions and security zoning
