Beschreibung

• Act as first point of contact to patients arriving in person • Answer inbound calls from customers on a multi-line phone system • Provide information to new and existing patients and troubleshoot common issues • Work with branch teams and other departments to resolve or escalate queries and concerns • Create and process new orders • Review multiple systems simultaneously to assist customers • Confirm delivery appointments and verify insurance • Obtain equipment authorization based on payor guidelines • Monitor incoming faxes and perform data entry • Gather documentation and information needed to meet insurance guidelines • Request health plan authorizations and information electronically or verbally • Review new and recurring patient accounts and obtain documentation needed to bill health insurance plans • Collect credit card payments and billing information • Reconcile daily receivables and submit to the lock box • Perform outbound customer satisfaction calls • May conduct downloads of recording devices and perform functional tests on respiratory equipment • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Anforderungen

• High School Diploma or equivalent • At least one-year related work experience • English (reading, writing, verbal) • Intermediate to advanced computer skills • Proficient working within multiple systems at once • Intermediate level math skills • Effective communication in person, on the phone and electronically • At least two years’ experience in an office environment, healthcare setting or call center (preferred) • Experience utilizing multi-line phone-system (preferred)
