Beschreibung

• Guide patients through AdaptHealth using a patient-centered approach and effective communication • Respond to patient needs and provide an exceptional customer or patient experience • Work collaboratively with patients to positively affect health outcomes by providing appropriate products and services • Send letters to patients when contact cannot be made • Answer patient-related emails in a timely manner and follow through on emails and phone calls until patients are taken care of • Communicate professionally with internal and external customers • Recommend equipment that may improve quality of care • Troubleshoot concentrator and other equipment problems over the phone • Verify or obtain alternate contact information • Verify delivery addresses, delivery instructions, and telephone numbers for orders • Review documentation for validity before processing orders • Use cost-effective delivery methods and document delivery expectations and requests • Document patient or family contacts using standard note formats • Route orders to appropriate locations, departments, or regional branches • Complete orders received via CMB, email, fax, or phone in a timely manner • Identify system or process trends and propose efficiency improvements and cost savings • Support departmental and organizational goals by assisting coworkers with call schedules and assigned tasks • Participate in team activities, mentoring, and training • Develop and maintain staff reference materials and facilitate information sharing • Escalate patient concerns to a supervisor

🎯 Anforderungen

• High School Diploma or equivalent • One (1) year work related experience in health care administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, call center or management regardless of industry • Senior level requires two (2) years of work-related experience and one (1) year of exact job experience • Decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail • Strong verbal and written communication • Strong organizational skills with ability to follow through • Ability to work independently and follow detailed directives • Ability to recognize weaknesses in existing systems and processes, track results, and offer creative solutions • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks • Technical aptitude to understand data flow through systems and system interaction • Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
