Beschreibung

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations • Analyze financial statements and investigate variances • Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with accounting standards • Support financial reporting and management reporting processes • Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts • Assist with audit requests and documentation preparation • Manage intercompany transactions and foreign currency accounting as needed • Process and review transactions involving Canadian currency (CAD) and related exchange rate adjustments • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior-level accounting role • Experience working with Canadian accounting practices, financial reporting, and Canadian currency transactions • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience with ERP/accounting systems • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment • Preferred: experience working in multinational or cross-border business environments • Preferred: knowledge of foreign currency accounting and intercompany accounting • Preferred: experience with IFRS and/or Canadian accounting standards
