Beschreibung

• Design and implement software architecture for current and future products • Research and analyze third-party software packages and tools • Define software development processes and coding standards • Review new and existing designs for correctness, robustness, and long-term viability • Design and develop web-based systems using Java EE technologies in multi-tiered environments • Develop front-end components, business logic, workflow logic, backend systems, and integration endpoints • Develop user interfaces using JavaScript and browser-based technologies, focusing on usability, security, cross-browser compatibility, and performance • Determine operational feasibility through analysis, requirements gathering, solution development, and solution proposals • Design and develop new core functionality • Follow coding standards, software development methodologies, and release processes • Work with Quality Assurance on functional, performance, and deployment issues • Perform technical root cause analysis and outline corrective actions • Participate in peer code reviews and provide comments and suggestions • Document and demonstrate solutions through documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code • Collaborate with QA, Project Management, and Support teams to achieve customer goals • Review product and application information for technical accuracy • Diagnose problems and ensure solutions address identified issues • Plan, organize, set objectives, manage time, and meet deadlines • Mentor less experienced Software Engineers • Serve as a technical lead and direct others' work as required • Participate in multiple projects • Attend internal and external training • Review professional publications and participate in professional networks or organizations • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• High school, secondary school, or equivalent educational qualifications • 5+ years professional experience using Java, Ruby, Objective-C, C#, C++, Python, PHP, or other object-oriented programming technologies for database-driven web applications • Professional experience with relational databases such as Oracle or Postgres • SQL or PL/SQL experience • Cross-browser client-side development with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript • Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries including Dojo, D3, Angular, Vue.js, React, jQuery, Backbone.js, or Ember.js • Experience using AJAX and JSON • Experience using Git/GitHub for source code version control and collaborative software development • Working knowledge of SOAP and REST-based web services • Successful experience capturing and documenting software requirements • Experience managing project activities through relationships with Software Engineers, Customer Support, Quality Assurance, and Project Management • Success writing ad hoc SQL to troubleshoot customer application issues • Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent work experience • Preferred: Working knowledge of clinical trial processes and medical informatics • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods at a stationary workstation • Ability to regularly carry, raise, and lower objects up to 10 lbs • Ability to learn and comprehend basic instructions • Ability to focus attention on tasks and responsibilities • Verbal communication, listening, understanding, responding, and speaking
