Beschreibung

• Execute start-up, commissioning, and training at customer locations for mechanical, electrical, and electronic components including decanters, high speed separators, and heat exchangers • Perform start-up and commissioning according to specified procedures, including functionality tests, FAT, and SAT tests • Report results and provide feedback to the project team • Provide classroom and hands-on customer training on equipment operation and maintenance • Tune equipment parameters to optimize performance • Review Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) flow charts • Perform site inspections and installation supervision before commissioning • Perform pre-commissioning activities including IO checks, vacuum tests, and dry runs, both in person and digitally • Participate in customer meetings during startup, testing, and site activities • Provide remote customer support • Set up commonly used instrumentation and electrical components such as flow meters, pressure/flow switches, and VFDs • Understand electrical schematics and perform basic troubleshooting during startup • Assist project managers in ensuring plants and systems meet specifications when shipped • Participate in project reviews and incorporate prior commissioning experience into new projects and standard concepts • Conduct performance reviews of installations handed over to customers • Start up Alfa Laval equipment, including installation, mechanical assembly, control parameters, and motor ID runs • Start up and shut down equipment according to company and customer safety procedures and OSHA requirements • Create job time and expense reports, commissioning reports, and payroll reports • Obtain signed time summary sheets and commissioning reports from customers upon job completion • Perform field service jobs and training as needed

🎯 Anforderungen

• Diploma or associate’s degree in engineering or related field • Bachelor’s degree is a plus • 5+ years of field service or equivalent experience aligned to DEC/HSS products • Customer service and sales orientation • High service cultural competence • Good communication and interpersonal skills • Advanced mechanical skills and aptitude • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and/or controls • Basic automation skills • Ability to upload programs for controls/automation • Ability to communicate equipment operational and safety parameters to customers • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems • Ability to work as a team player and independently • Basic PC utilization skills in Microsoft Office • Ability to perform jobs in line with OHSA requirements • Completion of established safety training programs • Valid driver’s license
