Beschreibung

• Drive efforts and contribute to building computer software systems • Participate in the software design process from beginning to end • Maintain product features, including on-call escalations, triage, and resolution • Lead code and design reviews • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging • Write clean code for functional web applications • Perform advanced troubleshooting and debugging • Perform UI tests to optimize performance • Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features • Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications • Gather and address technical and design requirements • Set up and maintain environment configurations and monitor system health • Build reusable code and libraries • Provide training and support to internal teams • Enhance development tools, test coverage, and code structure • Mentor and provide technical support to junior engineers • Respond to on-call incidents and resolve critical disruptions to minimize downtime • Communicate proactively with customers and vendors • Independently manage tasks, solve problems, meet deadlines, and adapt to new challenges • Maintain development standards within the team • Champion an API-first approach to software projects

🎯 Anforderungen

• Minimum of 5 years of related software development experience, or 3 years and an advanced degree • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, another related field, or equivalent work experience • Strong programming skills in an object-oriented language such as Java or C# • Proven work experience as a full stack developer • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular, HTML, and CSS • In-depth understanding of the software development process from design through deployment • Experience developing and deploying applications for Cloud Native Infrastructure • Experience working within an agile framework • Strong analytical, time management, written communication, and verbal communication skills • Ability to deliver value independently and provide technical input • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams • Experience monitoring and supporting production systems, identifying and resolving issues, implementing proactive measures, and tracking measurements • Experience optimizing system performance and troubleshooting bottlenecks • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and caching mechanisms • Understanding and practical application of REST API best practices, including security, scalability, and performance • Experience developing unit, UI automation, and integration tests • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation • Ability to apply AI-assisted workflows to code generation, testing, refactoring, and modernization • Ability to work in the US and eligibility for full-time employment without sponsorship • Experience with SaaS offerings in technology and financial industries (preferred) • Experience building and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services using Kubernetes (preferred) • Experience with OpenTelemetry (preferred) • Experience with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js (preferred)
