Beschreibung

• Serve as a primary day-to-day accounting resource for a portfolio of complex nonprofit clients • Execute day-to-day accounting while collaborating with Controllers and CFOs • Administer complex fund accounting structures and track restricted funds and grant activity • Lead grant billing, drawdown requests, and funder reporting with minimal Controller oversight • Resolve complex reconciling items and accounting discrepancies independently • Informally mentor Accountants on nonprofit accounting standards and best practices • Identify and implement process improvements • Monitor budget variances and provide actionable analysis to Controllers and CFOs • Prepare and process client payroll accurately and compliantly • Implement and maintain internal controls across client accounts • Use current processes and tools, including code red alerts, to identify and prevent fraud • Meet or exceed billable-hours goals while maintaining service excellence • Complete time tracking, capacity planning, and quarterly initiatives • Participate in the Brand Ambassador program • Uphold security practices protecting client assets

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent experience • 6+ years of accounting experience with significant nonprofit focus • Experience in a multi-client or Client Accounting Services (CAS) environment strongly preferred • Expertise in nonprofit fund accounting, grant management, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-funder client work independently • Experience supporting or leading audit preparation processes • Strong technical aptitude across multiple accounting platforms • Demonstrated informal leadership or mentorship of colleagues • Excellent written and verbal communication with nonprofit leaders
