Beschreibung

• Lead the design, implementation, and advancement of enterprise authentication platforms • Provide technical leadership for directory infrastructure, MFA, PKI, privileged access management, vaulting solutions, and password/MFA management applications • Partner with the Authentication Lead Product Manager on strategy, roadmaps, prioritization, and solution implementation • Lead authentication strategy, architecture, and engineering to meet business needs and provide a secure, seamless user experience • Design, implement, and modernize MFA, PKI, SSO, privileged access management, vaulting, and cloud-native authentication platforms • Enable Zero Trust capabilities including passwordless, phishing-resistant authentication, JIT, and JEA access • Drive automation, Infrastructure as Code, and test-driven development practices for validation and control testing • Lead large-scale authentication migrations and technology transformations • Partner with security, infrastructure, cloud, application, and AI teams to deliver scalable and resilient authentication services • Support security integration into application automation, AI workflows, and agentic AI capabilities • Coach Managing Engineers and provide technical leadership and people development • Lead technical product design reviews and guide engineering best practices • Influence clients and partners to prioritize enterprise benefit and risk reduction • Drive adoption of technology solutions using existing patterns, practices, and reference architectures • Implement and enhance security controls addressing audit, assessment, red-team, penetration-testing, vulnerability-scanning, and threat-modeling findings • Own reliability, resiliency, and operational excellence of authentication services • Define and achieve SLOs, improve availability and performance, enhance observability, and lead incident response to reduce MTTR • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends and establish engineering standards and best practices • Provide technical leadership across authentication domains • Supervise and manage multiple Managing Engineers

🎯 Anforderungen

• 10+ years of Information Technology or Engineering experience with authentication, identity or security engineering accountabilities • Experience leading enterprise large-scale projects • Strong expertise with Active Directory and Entra ID • Experience with PKI solutions such as Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS), Hashicorp, Entrust, Sectigo, or DigiCert • Experience with multifactor solutions such as Microsoft Authenticator or Duo • Experience implementing on-premises and cloud authentication solutions using AWS, Azure, and/or GCP • Experience automating authentication solutions and processes • Experience deploying configurations through CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies • Understanding of authentication attack techniques, threat actors, exploitation methods, and mitigating controls • Understanding of security standards and compliance requirements including NIST, ISO, PCI, HIPAA, and SOX • Understanding of Full Stack Java development • Background investigation required • Must have reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload • Must have a dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions, with appropriate desk and seating • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
