Beschreibung

• Architect and design digital products using modern tools, technologies, frameworks, and systems • Design, implement, test, and document software • Own and manage applications in production and be accountable for digital product KPIs • Support the Enterprise Payments organization and its payment solutions • Participate in inceptions and iteration planning meetings • Provide technical input to product backlogs in partnership with the product manager • Participate in daily site, cross-site, and product team standups • Participate in retrospectives and encourage empathetic feedback • Collaborate on high-level and low-level component and system designs • Collaborate on performance improvements and technical review meetings • Practice paired programming and test-driven development • Establish continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices • Support software products in user environments • Participate in knowledge sharing and contribute to team knowledge growth

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5 or more years of experience developing REST APIs using Java Spring Boot • Experience with Swagger, REST-docs, OpenAPI specification, versioning, service discovery/registration, testing, and management • Experience architecting, designing, implementing, and delivering large-scale distributed cloud systems and/or applications • Experience with microservices architectures • Experience with web and API security, including authentication, authorization, OAuth, OWASP, OpenID, and SAML • Backend development design and implementation experience • Experience with databases, SQL, caching, and Kafka messaging • Knowledge of Git, artifact management systems, build and packaging systems, Maven, Gradle, NPM, Artifactory, and Jenkins or similar CI tools • Experience working in an Agile environment or paired programming/engineering model • Experience with test-driven development and writing unit tests for front-to-back coverage • Experience solving problems and analyzing performance bottlenecks • Experience with Python is a plus • REACT experience is a plus • Background investigation required • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position • Dedicated, private workspace when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
