Beschreibung

• Provide expert guidance on customs regulations, compliance strategies, and trade optimisation opportunities • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for their customs needs • Identify new business opportunities, contribute to sales strategies, and prepare proposals to expand our consultancy services • Stay up to date with UK, EU, and international customs regulations, ensuring clients remain compliant and minimise risks • Work with clients to optimise their customs and trade operations, driving efficiencies and cost savings • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to keep ALS ahead of the curve

🎯 Anforderungen

• 5+ years of experience in customs consultancy or a related field (international trade, customs brokerage, or supply chain management) • Strong knowledge of UK & EU customs regulations, trade procedures, and compliance requirements • Experience with special customs procedures (such as Inward Processing, Outward Processing, and Customs Warehousing) is a plus • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements • Strong communication and presentation skills – the ability to simplify and explain technical customs concepts to clients • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, PowerPivot, pivot tables, data analysis) • Strong organisational and project management skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with the wider team
