Beschreibung

• Serve as lead technical expert for the government program office overseeing advanced M&S projects • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to achieve technical and programmatic objectives • Provide government oversight for Digital Engineering elements of hypersonic test and evaluation infrastructure modernization projects • Integrate AI and ML into physics-based models to improve predictive capabilities and accelerate analysis • Assess contractor strategies for maintaining the Digital Thread from MBSE requirements through design, simulation, test, and operations • Provide technical oversight for cloud-based digital engineering environments integrating M&S tools, data repositories, and program management software • Review contractor-developed M&S tools, methodologies, and validation plans for fidelity and accuracy • Assess multi-physics coupling approaches and integration of M&S with physical test data • Evaluate and provide feedback on Verification, Validation, and Accreditation plans and results • Advise on performer-driven reviews including SRR, IBR, PDR, CDR, and TIMs • Prepare and present technical assessments, white papers, and recommendations to the Chief Engineer and Government Program Manager • Review and provide technical input on M&S-related contract deliverables including SEP and IMS • Lead SETA team adoption of GenAI and advanced digital tools • Communicate complex M&S and digital engineering concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Travel to performer worksites and government offices to observe development activities and participate in reviews and meetings

🎯 Anforderungen

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field and 10+ years of relevant experience • Expertise in Digital Engineering principles, methodologies, and application, including MBSE, Digital Thread, and Digital Twin concepts • Understanding of digital ecosystems, including PLM tools, data management and protection, and HPC environments • Hands-on experience developing or applying advanced computational models such as CFD, FEA, or trajectory simulation to complex aerospace systems • Expertise in at least one M&S domain: aerodynamics, aerothermodynamics, combustion, or structural mechanics • Understanding of cloud computing environments such as AWS GovCloud or Azure Government • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical reports and engineering briefings • Experience collaborating in a cross-functional or matrixed engineering team environment • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel • Currently hold a Secret security clearance • U.S. citizenship required • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information • Approximately 10+ years of relevant experience • Travel approximately 20% of the year to performer worksites and government offices • Master's Degree or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering or science discipline (desired) • Specific experience with M&S of hypersonic, high-temperature, or reacting flow fields (desired) • Understanding of AI/ML techniques and application to engineering analysis or data-driven modeling (desired) • Experience evaluating other Government contractors (desired) • Familiarity with DoW weapon acquisition programs and T&E (desired) • Knowledge of large-scale data management strategies and standardized data formats such as HDF5 (desired) • Hands-on experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler and SysML (desired) • Familiarity with PLM software such as Windchill and DevSecOps/collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or GitLab (desired) • Eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance (desired)
