Beschreibung

• Support product management by delivering analytical insights, reports, and product performance metrics • Research business data using statistical analysis and data mining to identify historical patterns and improve performance • Develop scalable and flexible data reporting and analysis solutions • Monitor product performance with actuarial, loss analytic, and performance analytics teams • Monitor marketplace, competitors, industry changes, product offers, and pricing position • Provide technical and analytical leadership for project deliverables, including program management, data gathering, manipulation, analysis, modeling, and recommendations • Perform data mining, pattern analysis, and root-cause analysis to identify opportunities and weaknesses • Develop data-driven approaches to product, pricing, process, and underwriting questions • Work with product management and actuaries on class, rate, and form filings • Create automated technical solutions for manually intensive processes using Microsoft tools • Provide advanced data analysis guidance, collaboration, and execution • Enhance and maintain departmental data and databases • Participate in testing and quality assurance for data warehouse and Business Intelligence application inputs and outputs • Collaborate with agency operations, business intelligence, business units, enterprise applications, partners, clients, and insurance carriers

🎯 Anforderungen

• 3+ years of experience as a product analyst or in similar roles and responsibilities • Advanced understanding of the personal insurance business, including products, coverages, claims, underwriting, distribution channels, and business/sales centers • Ability to operate independently without significant direction or oversight • Leadership, innovation, and initiative skills • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis skills • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills • Team orientation and excellent collaboration skills • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, and SQL • Experience in Property and Casualty insurance • Experience in business process analysis, data analysis, and data profiling • Ability to set priorities and perform multiple tasks • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions • Ability to adapt to a paperless environment • Ability to develop effective working relationships with staff, partners, clients, and insurance carriers • Ability to thoroughly review claim files and provide feedback, direction, and guidance • Comfort navigating multiple systems and screens simultaneously • Clear, professional verbal communication and active listening skills • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks • Flexibility for cross-functional collaboration across time zones • Ability to work at a computer for prolonged periods and use standard office equipment • Ability to read and interpret documents, emails, and computer screens • Ability to hear and speak clearly on the phone for extended periods • Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
