Beschreibung

• Take technical ownership of the development and evolution of modern, business-critical web applications • Design, develop and maintain backend services and application integrations using Java • Work hands-on with Elasticsearch in a production environment, including designing, implementing and reviewing search-related solutions • Contribute to frontend development using Angular and perform thorough code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability • Work with Snowflake, SQL and multiple data sources to support application functionality and data integration • Act as a key technical reviewer for Java and Elasticsearch solutions and support high-quality engineering practices across the team • Participate in architectural and technical decision-making at the application level • Collaborate closely with software engineers, data teams, product stakeholders and other technical teams • Drive best practices around code quality, testing, security, performance and maintainability • Mentor and support other engineers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing • Identify technical risks and propose practical, scalable solutions • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and engineering standards

🎯 Anforderungen

• Several years of professional experience in software development, including experience in a senior or technical leadership role • Strong, hands-on expertise in Java and backend application development • Proven, recent experience working with Elasticsearch in a production environment • Good practical knowledge of Angular, including the ability to develop and confidently review frontend code • Strong experience with SQL and practical exposure to Snowflake • Experience working with multiple systems, APIs and application integrations • Good understanding of application architecture, distributed systems and software engineering best practices • Experience with automated testing, CI/CD and version control • Strong communication, problem-solving and collaboration skills • Ability to balance hands-on development with technical leadership • Good command of English
