Beschreibung

• Coordinate, communicate, and oversee directives from members’ senior management teams to AWG sales support team members • Work with AWG support teams to achieve member store group objectives • Coordinate store resets, remodels, upgrades, new store builds, and acquisitions • Support member advertising activity through in-house or outside advertising groups • Make regular planned store calls to support profitable sales growth and act as liaison between customers and the company • Interpret store departmental financial and operating statements and advise members on operational strengths and weaknesses • Perform analysis and planning to establish and meet member goals, objectives, and priorities • Collaborate as part of the AWG sales team • Analyze competitors’ merchandising strategies and advise on countermeasures • Use the Flawless Execution method for planning and communication; keep management informed and submit complete, accurate records on time • Develop weekly advertisements with members, vendors, department managers, and buyers when assigned • Ensure assigned stores utilize warehouse programs • Support and coordinate food show activities with member senior management teams • Monitor sales opportunities, out-buying, inventory control, and quality control • Educate retailers on AWG programs that drive same-store sales and profitability • Develop and implement promotions and merchandising programs for long-term success • Coordinate warehouse and member operations and advise membership and sales teams on effective and efficient operations • Serve members in total store operations through cross-training

🎯 Anforderungen

• Retail grocery store or grocery wholesale experience preferred • Degree not required; equivalent work experience in retail preferred • Minimum of 5 years of related management experience in grocery retail or wholesale, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Ability to read and speak fluent English • Ability to comprehend operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence • Ability to make presentations effectively before small and large groups • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred • Ability to read and interpret departmental financial and operating statements • Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with varied concrete situations • Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions • Valid driver's license • Ability to drive, sit, stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and taste or smell as required • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 70 pounds • Ability to work around freezers, coolers, refrigerated areas, meat cutting, packing, and heavy machinery • Ability to read and comprehend AWG programs, policies, sanitation, FDA, C.O.O.L. legislation, and other state and federal requirements • Safety-sensitive position
