Beschreibung

• Perform conflict-of-interest searches for clients, matters, new hires, and upon request • Prepare clear and concise reports, using judgment to filter relevant data • Conduct factual research to identify potential conflicts and verify the accuracy and quality of relevant data • Use internal and external resources, including firm databases, outside vendor resources, and internet sites • Review submitted data for new client and client/matter acceptance • Research information accuracy, quality, and potential client relationships • Develop and maintain expertise in Elite, Intapp Open, and other software needed for job functions • Provide telephone and email assistance regarding conflict-of-interest checks, client/matter status, and end-user system support • Respond to inquiries from staff members and end users • Perform other duties as requested and assigned

🎯 Anforderungen

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) • 1-2 years of post-secondary education • 2-4 years of legal assistant or conflicts experience are desirable • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint • Proven aptitude to learn new software applications • Strong Internet research skills • Demonstrated ability to use legal and financial research systems • Prior experience utilizing BVD/Orbis, Intapp Open, Elite 3E, and other AI or conflicts software is preferred • Ability to communicate with end users and department staff members • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations • Ability to write simple correspondence and routine messages • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos • Ability to perform basic arithmetic with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals • Ability to apply common-sense understanding and solve problems involving concrete variables • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Ability to interpret extensive instructions and handle abstract and concrete variables • Independent thinking and decision-making • Strategic thinking, tactical development, and pragmatic execution • Ability to multitask and remain detail-oriented with strong organizational skills • Strong analytical and oral and written communication skills • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and projects to meet deadlines • Ability to work with little supervision and collaborate with team members • Ability to exercise discretion with confidential and sensitive information • Strong client service approach and team orientation • Ability to operate standard office equipment and a computer • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds • Ability to submit a resume and cover letter
