Beschreibung

• Perform modeling of specific or multiple systems/disciplines. • Deliver high-quality, cost-effective shop drawings supporting fabrication and installation. • Oversee 3D modeling and coordination across assigned projects. • Read and interpret specifications and contract documents and establish project execution plans within BIM budgets. • Apply mechanical and plumbing systems, code interpretation, fabrication, installation knowledge, and company best practices to produce installation and layout drawings. • Identify routing efficiencies to enhance BIM value. • Communicate execution plans to internal BIM/VDC team members and outsourcing partners. • Perform quality control on project deliverables. • Lead clash detection, embedded data, industry coordination, and collaboration efforts. • Ensure assisting BIM/VDC personnel follow departmental protocols. • Manage models and drawings throughout the project lifecycle, including linked-file updates. • Troubleshoot issues associated with daily tasks. • Work with senior project leads/managers to review and compare subcontractor budgets. • Schedule deliveries of Trimble layout drawings, shop drawings, BOMs, fabrication drawings, and as-builts. • Participate in training opportunities and uphold departmental ethics, professionalism, and leadership.

🎯 Anforderungen

• High School diploma or GED • 4 to 7 years of experience in BIM MEP processes • Advanced building systems, code, fabrication, and installation knowledge • Advanced knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Fabrication, and Bluebeam • Complete understanding of the BIM/VDC process • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Detail-oriented and able to manage ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment • Versed in the industry and the Company’s competitors • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside the scope of work when necessary • Preferred: experience leading a small team of 2 or 3 BIM professionals • Ability to travel 5% of the time to job sites/office locations • Ability to work prolonged periods at a desk and computer • Ability to climb stairs • Ability to kneel, stand, or sit for prolonged periods • Ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions • Ability to adjust and/or move objects up to 20 pounds
