Beschreibung

• Work alongside sales teams to understand customer business goals, challenges, and buying drivers • Lead client discovery sessions across campus, data center, WAN, wireless, and security domains • Develop secure, scalable network and cross-practice solution architectures aligned to delivery objectives • Assess client network environments to validate solution fit and identify modernization opportunities • Present architectures aligned with business outcomes, risk, and investment value • Serve as senior subject matter expert for enterprise networking and network security • Lead architecture and design across routing and switching, SD-WAN, SASE/SSE, wireless, data center and campus fabric, segmentation, NAC, and next-generation firewall platforms • Advise on cloud connectivity, data center infrastructure, cybersecurity, unified communications, and endpoints • Resolve complex network design tradeoffs and act as an escalation point • Develop cost models, LOE estimates, solution narratives, assumptions, estimates, and scope framing • Prepare technical pitches, proposals, and Statements of Work • Support RFP responses, technical presentations, and demonstrations • Document solution architectures and ensure consistency across proposals and implementations • Partner with delivery, engineering, sales, specialty, vendor, and distribution teams to validate feasibility and align complex pursuits • Conduct internal handoffs to delivery • Contribute reusable assets, reference designs, and solution blueprints • Mentor Solution Architects and improve discovery, design quality, and client engagement • Share industry insights and participate in reviews, debriefings, and retrospectives

🎯 Anforderungen

• In-depth understanding of enterprise networking and network security technologies, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, switching, VLANs/VXLAN, QoS, multicast, and network automation • Demonstrated design experience with Cisco, Juniper, HPE Aruba, and Fortinet platforms • Experience designing SD-WAN, SASE/SSE, Zero Trust network access, and segmentation architectures • Strong enterprise IT architecture background across cloud, storage, virtualization, cybersecurity, unified communications, and data management • Proficiency designing multi-practice, multi-domain solutions • Familiarity with cost modeling, licensing and subscription structures, and delivery resource planning • Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, multi-cloud, and hybrid cloud connectivity • Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, and network observability platforms • Familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and SOC 2 • Experience designing solutions for financial services, healthcare, retail, education, and public sector • Strong client-facing presentation and communication skills • Ability to align technical solutions with business challenges and value drivers • Proven presales engagement and proposal development experience • Excellent problem-solving and creative solution design abilities • Ability to manage multiple pursuits and priorities • Experience with pipeline management and CRM tools • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience • Expert-level network certification strongly preferred, including Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE, HPE Aruba ACSP/ACMX, or Fortinet NSE 6–8 / FCSS • 8–12+ years in IT solution design, network architecture, or technical presales roles, including complex multi-workstream pursuits • MSP, VAR, or systems integrator experience highly desirable • Success influencing senior client stakeholders and mentoring less experienced architects
