Beschreibung

• Manage the development, implementation and future business activities related to PED/PESR • Provide technical expertise on pressure equipment to support inspection and certification activities • Undertake audit activities within BSI’s EN ISO/IEC 17021-1 and EN ISO/IEC 17065 Certification Body • Undertake inspection activities within BSI’s EN ISO 17020 Type A Inspection Body • Investigate, develop and project manage services for PED/PESR customer requirements • Liaise and coordinate with other parts of BSI to maximize PED/PESR business opportunities • Conduct inspection activities on a wide variety of pressure equipment under PED/PESR • Plan and implement services for timely availability to clients • Conduct PED/PESR compliance audits at customer sites independently • Assist in controlling BSI’s inspection business • Help train staff

🎯 Anforderungen

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in a senior technical/management role in a pressure-related industry (preferred), or equivalent determined by the PED Technical Manager based on pressure equipment career history, qualifications and experience • In-depth knowledge of design and manufacturing codes, materials, manufacturing including welding, inspection including NDT, pressure testing and certification for pressure vessels, piping, pressure accessories, safety accessories and assemblies • Commercial and business awareness of pressure equipment manufacture and inspection • Detailed technical understanding of PED/PESR, pressure equipment codes and standards, and affected products, practices and industries • Proven communication, training and presentation skills in a technically complex field • Must be able to work without visa sponsorship
